Chagrin Falls is a wonderful place to live and work for many reasons. The people, the scenery, the arts and culture. It’s a true hidden gem.
That extends to our food scene, too. Chagrin Falls has some fantastic restaurants. We’ve picked five great spots to eat out below, but know that this is only scratching the surface. Chagrin Falls is FULL of great places to eat, so if you have suggestions, let us know in the Facebook comments. We may mention them in a future article.
For now, here are five places to check out:
Aurelia - Honest Food & Drink
15 N. Main Street
This farm-to-table restaurant has great drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic food made by a master of his craft. The menu tends to be short, limited to a few key dishes based on what local goods are available. That means each dish has been carefully selected. The menu changes, so there is always good reason to go back and try new things, too.
44 N. Main Street
Sometimes all you want is a good burger. When you have the craving, FlipSide should be on your short list of places to visit. They exist to make burgers, and they do them as good as anyone else out there. Lots of offbeat options to mix things up, as well as good old fashioned traditional burgers and cheeseburgers. Well worth a visit!
Crumb & Spigot
16783 Chillicothe Rd
Disregard the fact that it’s in a strip mall. Crumb & Spigot is a small, cozy and lively restaurant that specialize in creative dishes that get a little outside the traditional. Great place if you want to try something you’ve never had before.
Bull & Bird Steakhouse
87 West St.
If you want a good steak like only a steakhouse can do it, try Bull & Bird. Located where the Gamekeepers Tavern used to be, this is an upscale steakhouse with cuts you’re not going to find in the grocery store. If you like steak, it’s nice to indulge once in a while!
95 N. Main Street
A quaint, cozy and comfortable spot to get breakfast or brunch, Lemon Falls is a nice downtown spot that has healthy food, a fun mini grocery store, and a welcoming atmosphere. For salads, quick lunches, and food that you won’t feel guilty about eating, Lemon Falls does the trick.
Those are only five. We know there are many more. Tell us about them in the Facebook comments!
